this is the most disgusting reason to have a kid that I hear from people. it's basically saying "life is pretty shitty, I'll use a kid to give me a reason to live and as a motivator" using another human being as your means to an end because life isn't good enough on it's own. and by your own reasoning possibly damning a kid a life of misery if they are infertile/impotent because god forbid you live life without playing god and creating a little "you" for your ego purposes. It's an entirely selfish reason. Literally the best reason to NOT have a kid. maybe I'll take this to antinatalism later.

seen it so many ways. not always so direct. I think most women have these thoughts but aren't as conscious of them. like don't say it so directly in their minds, but their destination is always the same. i've seen so many guys trapped by girls that "HATE BABIES" then a few months later just happen to get pregnant and now are so happy to be a mom. usually it comes out they told the guy if he loves her truly he wouldn't wear a condom or that she has fertility issues so its ok. heard that shit so many times.

The Government gives about two shits more about women then men. This happened to me. I'll relate my experience in case anyone else is going through it.

First the emotions are very conflicting. It comes as a shock that someone you deeply love just betrayed you. And because you love them, you will try to justify in your mind why they did what they did. You (and her) might tell yourself that it was BECAUSE of love that they went against your desires. But this is just a siren song that sounds sweet at first, but leads men to their demise. It's not love because that old adage "if you love something enough you can let it go" is true. If a woman senses that she is drifting from you, and stops the bc to get pregnant, then she actually choose HER happiness over yours. A person who loves someone else would never trick them into being with them, but would be concerned with your happiness, even if it means being with someone else.

And there is another thing - not only do you have to deal with the betrayal, but have to deal with the attitudes of everybody around you. Don't expect any sympathy or support from family and friends. They say:

"well, if you did truly love her then having a family with her wouldn't bother you". Yes? You can still love someone but not want the responsibility of raising babies. Why doesn't the man's want's matter?

"Takes two to tango. Should have wrapped it up". Oh sorry for trusting my fiancé not lying to me? Stupid me!

"Don't worry, you will grow to like fatherhood when you first hold your beautiful little baby". Just. Wtf? "Will grow to like it"? How about I kick you in the nuts everyday? Maybe with time you'll enjoy it too.

Raising a child and not having a father there and only getting occasional help is not "easy money." Especially if the kid has difficulties.

Thats the idiotic "thinking" that has destroyed this generation and leads to kids being latchkey kids who create the next generation of problems.

That is why single motherhood used to be shamed and not subsidized. It made women think hard about who the father would be. Now the government is "daddy," and "daddy government" doesnt raise kids.
