Get this. He built a house, by himself (with help from friends and family, but no contractor, etc). He marries this bitch, has one girl, now eight years later she sends him papers. Ok, so the best part is she forced him to refinance the house that HE built with cash before they met. That money was used to fund her and her daughters lifestyle, and pay for the cunt's worthless masters degree for 90k. And now, she gets half his 401k too. And half his electronic studio equipment worth 10's of thousands. He's now asking people to "pawn" or help to hide his studio shit from his wife during the divorce. Sorry pal, reap the shitshow you sowed. Don't drag more people into your nightmare looking for a shoulder to cry on. Eat it whole.

Marriage used to be what civilization was built on. By enforcing monogamy, at least publicly, female hypergamy was kept in check giving virtually all men a chance of reproducing and raising offspring, that a man could be reasonably sure were his own. In return he would gladly give the sweat of his brow to support his family and the whole of society benefited as a result.

You can give a man the health benefits of exercise, and the man is free to exercise in response to the benefits.

But no amount of promotion of marriage is going to work for a man, because no man is free to just pick up a bride and take her to the courthouse. It involves another person who has her own mind on these things, and it is she--not the advice mongers--who is ultimately going to decide who gets a marriage, and who doesn't.

We can't "marry our way to better happiness" as a society any more than we can "apply our way to full employment." If there were enough men eligible for divorce, there would be enough men worth marrying. But their aren't enough men who are financially worth divorcing (let alone marrying); the sexual selection arms race has made most men rather unmarriagable by today's standards.

Our MGTOW advice against marriage is primarily aimed at those men who women already want to marry. But there are thousands upon thousands of men who don't have to worry about our advice, because women don't want to marry them. And given how the gynocentrisms of feminism and traditionalism really wish these men would either die, shut up, or go into their garages to magically make startups appear out of nowhere to employ us all (they really do think we have the power to do that at will, you know), I wonder if the "benefits" of marriage are actually a mask that hides what they wish could be "the penalties of non-marriage," ie, death and poverty if women don't like you.

Then again, society, health experts, and the media never cared much about them anyway, except as a thankless check.

Marriage benefits the elites. When you are married you are constantly spending money. You must spend money on the wife and the children and the wedding, the bigger house, bigger car, and so forth. More spending means more profits for business. Then consider that your children will eventually grow up and spend as well, so the businesses make even more money, and government taxes people, so the more you work the more government takes in taxes. This is why the elites hate MGTOW. MGTOW is the most effective weapon that the average man has to get back at the elites.
