I thought I would post this here because every other day it seems someone is posting about marxism/socialism, but my favourite MGTOW youtube subscriptions tend to be conservative or libertarian.

I have in the last several years shifted to being a little bit right of center. I agree with conservatives about small government and minimal regulations, but tend to disagree with them in ruling people's choices and personal lives, such as trying to impose their religious beliefs on other people's choices in general. You could call me a "classical liberal" or "libertarian" for that reason.

MGTOW is mostly a scial movement without a lot of political overlap, but I liked one analysis of marriage by a particular youtuber. Getting married is bringing the government into your relationship. You make an arrangement that will be selectively enforced by the government. You are no longer 100% on a relationship because both of you choose to be, but because of consequences enforced by government. I can somewhat understand why this would be of some necessity in a child rearing situation, especially where partners sacrifice career opportunities for the raising of a child under the expectation that the other partner will provide support for them. But obviously courts have turned overly biased against men and reward hypergamy.

I could go on a bit more on my views, but curious about others.
