I am so happy I decided not to go to any Halloween parties this past weekend. I am so happy I quit Facebook years ago. I am so happy I stopped dating and started saving money. I have completely disengaged from these kinds of social circles. My plan is to travel twice a year now with the money I DO save.

All of my friends got married and dropped off the face of the planet so my only social interaction is my brother who lives with me and my coworkers. I avoid Facebook (I'll hop on to read entertaining posts from this Redpill-er who pisses off his feminist friends regularly), don't read news or follow politics. I want to transition to a tinyhome community or a small two bedroom (550 sq ft home) with my brother to move away from the debt slavery that society pushes. No credit card or student debt.

I have a handful of friends that I'll leave home to see about once or twuce a month; but mostly I hang around my house. internet, video games, books, painting, cooking, and occasionally a movie. I too work online just enough to pay bills and have a bit of spending money

Just because you are down on the typical male-female relationship doesn't mean you can't have friends or enjoy life. I enjoy going out with friends and having a beer or whatever and having fun and seeing the world. Life is awesome. OP your pessimistic view on life is not healthy.

yep this is my goal. dealing with contemporary women means endless abuse with no repercussions for them and no mode of defence from them.

this obviously applies to the workplace. i also think of it as a mode of protest, given that men do all the truly productive work in society, men truly dropping out en masse would likely lead to massive societal change and hopefully benefits for men

For myself, I've gotten rid of Facebook and the like, and have limited my friends to those very few who actually strike me as being worthwhile. I plan, in the next year or so, to go off sailing about the world. There's nothing like the peace and solitude of the sea to get your blood flowing.

I don't think it's necessary to ghost yourself right out of society, but I myself have never been entirely keen on participating in the nonsense that inevitably accompanies society. it's no great loss to remove myself and go off alone; in fact, it's preferable to my mind.

People can be so tiring, it's no wonder I dislike them, lol.

I don't plan on disengaging completely and living as a hermit because that's a good way to lose your sanity after a while, but I'm definitely planning on limiting how much time I spend among people.

One concrete step I took toward that goal was buying a few acres of woods in the middle of nowhere and building a small off the grid cabin there. I'll spend approximately 50% of my time there and focus on self improvement, reading, building things, learning how to be self sufficient etc.

People typically work in order to support a middle class lifestyle and all that comes with it: children, travel, taxes, funding conspicuous consumption and other kinds of escapism etc. Furthermore, life in big cities is a racket and everything is overpriced. Once you decide that you don't want a woman in your life, you quickly realize how insanely cheap life can be - to the point where you can practice active economic disengagement, or at least work very minimally to sustain yourself. The only reason most people work so hard is because society has made it prohibitively expensive to start a family, and while most men could probably do with very little, it's impossible for them to get a woman living a spartan life... so they opt for a lifestyle of sitting in cubicles all day, while giving away 50% of their earnings to the government, and the rest to society in some form or another. NO THANKS!

After working retail for 4 years, I'm very ready to disengage from this toxic ass society, start my new job friday where I rarely have to interact with anyone and I couldn't be more happier, plus I plan on getting back on the dank soon.

I'm young. Early 20s. BUT my plan is to save money for the next 8 or 9 years. Then move far away. Buy land. Live off of it and a near by town. Bring like minded friends with me. And explore what the rest of life has to share. with out hearing about Kardashians fox news American elections or anything else.

For one, I don't live in a big city. Nice medium sized town 15 miles out from the city and 5 miles from heavy country.. I'm pretty happy where I'm at.. Work buys me comfort and living is cheap

I'll be moving to a rural area, building a tiny house, working a few contract jobs here and there and side jobs for cash and traveling the world camping in a tent and the occasional hostel. Keeping my job cash low and under the table cash high will be my fuck you to the system.

I'm semi-disengaged: work hard at my job in order to make as much money as possible, live frugally in order to save as much money as possible (I still buy "toys" for myself though). Basically I'm trying to maximize the amount of money I can take out of circulation.

I've got a handful of close friends who I see infrequently but I speak to on a semi-regular basis. I have a Facebook account that I use as a backup storage for my photos and also to facilitate keeping in contact with family and close friends (I reject friend offers from anyone I don't know).

I personally recommend against disengaging from society completely. Instead find a close group/club/community to engage with regularly while disengaging from the rest of society. Its times like this that I wish some kind of secular monastery existed.

Most of the way out now. Last stages will be to get the money & skills to work land directly for food & to find a spot that's far from the common police-state. From there massive use of bombs and firearms will be required to ensure that government intruders are all killed for trepassing. I'm talking land-mines, not just tiny explosives. Enough to take out armored soldiers or police.

They don't respect rights, land or life of individuals who are free. They have to choose to submit, to leave, or to die.

I live in an apartment in a big city and find ways to save. My goal is to build a debt-free home on 5-10 acres in the countryside in three years.

I find ways to save money (roommate, cook my own food, don't go out to bars, etc.) and also ways to prep (research, budgeting, grow a balcony garden, understand real economics, visit possible home spots, etc.)

i find myself becoming more like the Op but I still like interactions with the public and opposite sex at times. some females actually have a good, open mind but i will admit it is harder and harder to find in the coming generations. i am 21 turning 22 in december and i can already see the downfall of our society from guys worrying more about showering females with luxury and cash even if it makes them broke. i can't understand the amount of stupidity my generation has accumulated. i will admit i use to be a very caring and loving guy that would help anyone, but recently i have become more or a "savage" or selfish person in results of my reflections on past situations. Growing up i was an independent soul that could have fun playing video games or building legos by myself for hours. But when friends and family would come over i would still react with them as a normal blue pilled person would. now i am pretty much back the same but with no wants or needs to interact with friends or extended family. It all happened in good favor as It stopped my use of marijuana and alcohol abuse. i stay at home on the weekends and work full time during the week. any free time i have is spent watching youtube-documentaries or playing video games. I also dj and produce music but i'm very introverted and shy with it. I release it here and there online but i'm not looking for a big fanbase or crazy following. i just make music because its fun. Now I would say this is a form of my disengagement from the world but to some it may seem as just a semi-isolation technique.

I think what's cool about MGTOW is that you really do take advantage of that freedom as a man that you do have. Some women, feminists, manginas will try to shame you for going your own way. They will tell you that your a loser for being single or for not having women be attracted to you.

Society says that men who disengage from dating or society are losers or whatever negative association they have with MGTOW. But none of that fucking matters. What matters is that you do what you want to do. As long as your willing to deal with the consequences that your actions entail and that you take responsibility for your life you should be able to do whatever the fuck you want.

I honestly don't judge anybody that wants to get married, have kids, date, be active with society because many don't know what they are getting into in the first place and even if they do they still should do what they want to do.

One of the reasons why society does piss people off here is because society doesn't hold women to the same responsibility or expectations that they hold men to. Well society will have to deal with their decision to do that. MGTOW is a result of that decision.

I personally don't disengage fully from society but don't expect me to date, marry, or be heavily involved with women or be captain save a ho. I'm perfectly happy being a lone and am happy to be around all kinds of different people too. It's cool to learn from all walks of life. But don't expect me to be somebody because it's cool or that's what society does. Fuck that noise.

I still interact with society, but mostly just for the laughs and I never actually get "involved" with anybody past superficial interactions.

I live alone and don't date ever. Don't go out too much and if i do, it's with people I've known for 15 years and they're all married with kids so things never get too crazy.

Since people know I live alone, sometimes people will hint that they need a place to crash, I think hoping that I will offer up a room. Nope, sorry, move along.

Our overall health should be our main focus and spending as little as possible only makes a good thing better. Minimalism is the way to go. The fewer trinkets you have without denying yourself the benefits of modern technology seems the way to go. For me that means a quality smart phone (with an activated fm radio chip) along with a few sets of clothes for both the warmer seasons and the colder seasons,a pot,pan,and a spatula to cook with, and cleaning supplies to keep myself and my dwelling space sanitary is more than sufficient.
