Often weak and unassertive men will be psychologically and often physically dominated by their partners or wives. Not much is made of this in the media as the feminist media is only interested in female victims of domestic violence, but there's more than enough evidence to prove that female on male domestic violence is very common.

I have also noticed that in every day life if a man comes across as weak or unassertive, women will often mock him and be sarcastic towards him, especially when they're in groups or have more power than he does, like a female boss.

The overall impression seems to be that women have some compulsion to mock and berate weak men, which makes me wonder if there's an evolutionary reason for it.

In primitive societies thousands of years ago men needed to be strong and ready to fight because the safety of the tribe or community depended on it, weak men were absolutely useless and no defense against enemy tribes, a waste of space quite frankly.

This makes me wonder if women have evolved to instinctively mock and berate men who come across as weak to provoke them into becoming more manly and being prepared to fight and defend themselves.
