The funny thing is it's going to backfire. Historically women were always the desperate, thirsty ones. Men used to have control and not really care about women. Even now women are the ones obsessed with marriage, they just like to slut around before that because there are no consequences to that. Historically no man would marry a slut, she would have to turn to prostitution, and they were the lowest class.

I used to have a large porn collection but erased it all months ago, and I actually always rather hated watching porn. When you unplug from mainstream society, and get rid of porn, it really becomes easier to GYOW. When you're watching it, and giving into the system, it's really hard to picture yourself another way, but it's true.

Porn did not really exist 100 years ago when men were manlier. Feminism needed to leverage female sexuality and brainwash generations of men to be thirsty simps to get this to work.

Question, but do you even read history? Porn did not exist, because the capacity to put it on tape didn't exist, but that doesn't mean there wasn't something better, because there was: actual prostitution. According to the good ship internet, as accessed by google, Prostitution wasn't illegal in the US until 1910 when it was made illegal by an act of Congress (and women's suffrage was right around the corner, ratified in 1920, coincidence?). Up to 1910, we had whorehouses, and there was no reason for porn. Why buy pictures when you can wank to the real thing?

Basically, pornographic pictures of women date back to our ancestor's earliest cave paintings. They have always been around, and they will never go away. India found a workaround to the law literally ten seconds after it was passed. I guarantee you that "VPN" is trending right now all over the nation.

Not surprised. In the US feminists tried to ban porn, and it got all the way up to SCOTUS until men like Scalia I think it was smacked them down.

But Scalia is part of a dying breed of men that are no-nonsense, nowadays his type is vilified and attacked at every turn. Also we do have a Constitution although sometimes it feels like the government wipes their asses with it.

I'd imagine in the US porn can be banned too now, with more liberals in the judiciary and probably soon to be led by a woman.

India is so feminist it's ridiculous. Amazed that men still argue about that. But the Western media likes to pretend it is oppressive to women, and unless you unplug entirely and then actually travel and try to get unbiased news, you're going to fall prey to the feminist narrative in the West.

MGTOW are smart enough to know the media is BS about the US, but generally aren't savvy enough to connect to that the fact that it's BS about everywhere else too.

Women want men to be sexually aroused and then to be controlled. The worst thing for women is if men can actually control urges or stop being thirsty for women. Few men can do that, those men generally however achieve great things. Your top thinkers, scientists, conquerors etc. for the most part. The average man however is a slave to his thirst.

Women don't want to dress conservatively and be segregated, despite that being the best way for them to be "safe" and not have to deal with male interest. Instead they want to slut it up with miniskirts and low-cut blouses that expose their breasts, thrust themselves in front of men, and get attention. If they don't get that attention, they go apeshit. If they do get it, they also go apeshit. The mistake made is that society as a whole respects women and pays attention to all of this, we would be in the same boat if we respected children and allowed them a say in decisions.

Not something I would look forward to.

Collapses are marked by governments taking increasingly aggressive, increasingly unjust actions. People assume a "collapse" will be without rule of law (wrol), but instead you tend to get too much rule of law. When Rome fell, for example, they tried to fix the economy by instituting hereditary castes. Talk about government over-regulation!

It's also worth considering what it would take to rebuild a technical society. Once upon a time, it was possible to take rocks lying out in the open and toss them in a fire; out would come copper or tin, or maybe the rock would itself burn. Now we are approaching peak copper, and it's all deep underground. Same with steel, oil (especially) and almost any other useful material material - the easy stuff is long gone. A new society recovering from a dark age needs the steam engine before they can mine the iron to make it, or the coal to run it.

So yes, the current system is rotten and has lost the ability to address the problems which need to be addressed. (This is Toynbee's formulation for the decline of societies, by the way. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Societal_collapse#Toynbee.E2.80.99s_theory_of_decay)
But I can't say I really want to see it collapse, as it's going to be very, very difficult to replace.

Feminist move, yes. One of the reoccuring points in the feminist propaganda is to ban the pornographic material in media and commersionals, as it is "objectifying women". With the governments getting more and more for the "equality" of the sexes, feminism sure had a lot of influence on the decision.

For the second part, about it being for more men watching porn and de-throning women, it might be a smaller part, but not a huge reason. Married men also watch porn (unless their wives has too much of a grip around his balls). Most men will regardless of their pornographic interest aim towards being in a long-term relationship with women, since those of us going other ways is still a very small minority. With most relationships there is also the requirement to pay for her, so the likelyhood of it being about that seems small to me. As said earlier, it might be a lucky side effect not accounted for, but banning porn due to men not caring about women seems like a long-shot

What you say is true, but remember, correlation does not imply causation. Yes, there was a huge drop in rape and violence against women with the introduction of VHS porn, and that drop continues on to this day, along with a corresponding drop in ALL crime, violent and non-violent. Thirty years ago, when VHS porn was new, was also a time where America was in the grip of a "crime wave", and people were scared. Then, for some reason that nobodies' been able to figure out, crime rates started to drop, across the board, and they kept dropping. Incarceration rates increased because we were punishing people more harshly for committing crimes, but crime rates have continued to drop. Nobody knows why this happened, and there are many explanations for it, but I'm pretty sure VHS porn appearing on the scene at roughly the same time is a coincidence.

Yes, we're capable of going without, but until very recently we couldn't be seen as willingly going without, not outside some religious our spiritual context. If a 25 year old man chose to play WoW over getting a blowjob, his manhood was called into question. Yes, this is changing, and I think MGTOW is a big part of that.

We all want to think that we're independent actors who don't give half a fuck what others think, but in reality social stigma hurts, and undermines your sense of self-worth, your career, and your mental health, even if the sex qua sex isn't all that important to you. There were, and still are, a great number of men who pretend to want to fuck every woman who passes by (hell, I'd do her right here on the pool table) when in reality they'd rather read a book. The women are status objects via which men are competing with other men.
