The gender ratio at birth means that if threres 1 million girls born then there's 1 million and 70,000 boys born. Just looking at those numbers in a really basic way, that means at age 18 there will be 70,000 men without a girlfriend.

This establishes who must approach who in a courting way. 18 year old Woman X won't approach men because she knows that her friends becky, Naomi and Kelly all got approached by their current boyfriends, so woman X will think she's weird and unattractive if she has to approach a man herself. It turns into a self fulfilling prophecy. And this is really the start of womens entitlement.

if a man wants to sit on his royal throne and watch the potential romantic women approach him one by one... Well he can't... Men can't compete because it's a supply and demand thing.

I hear a lot that men have a higher sex drive. And they probably do but women have a relationship drive too.

I hear a lot that it's in a males nature to go for what he wants while a female tends to be passive. Bullshit. Just look at any 50 year old woman who is single and wants a man, she'll sends out messages on tinder and pof. At that age there's more women than men because of the way the gender ratio numbers shift.

My point is society loves to avoid giving the gender ratio it's deserving attention, because it explains the privalege and excessive attention women receive in a cold hard systematic way and women don't like it.

This stuff shapes behaviour so much. I've heard from older people in my country that when the 1st and 2nd world wars were going on, resulting in the deaths of lots of men, women went into this unheard of proactive overdrive to get a man and marry him and raise a family with him. They actually went all out and went after what they needed

Yet no one talks about this in real life. How can that be?

"The problem with this theory is when you look at urban areas where women outnumber men, they dont suddenly become less picky."

Of course the women don't, because they probably lived in another area previously and all their friends in the other areas talk on and on about how much they get hit on. The vibe, the general consensus, about which gender is supposed to do what transverses areas, it transfers into one particular city very easily, and when this is combined with women's efforts (makeup etc) and insecurities pertaining to their looks you can bet women won't want to break the mould and approach men when all they've ever heard of is it being the other way.

Just look at the last line in this response I got from another woman in another thread about this gender ratio stuff, yep she doesn't like the statistics...

"I'm post-wall as what TRPers would say. I am hot, if I wasn't, we won't even be in this situation. He's always been more into physical looks, but he has found that it's never enough. He needs to be mentally challenged as well. Fortunately for me, he has always had his choice of women, this is not something new to him. I am not the least bit concerned that he's the way he is because he knows he's got options. He always had options.

Happy you found your chill though! Stats can be such a confidence-booster eh?"

"I believe in the statistics. I may not like it, but it is what it is."

yep exactly, and my point is is that because women don't like it, this notion is not given its true focus.

imagine a country where people grew up with this kind of discussion in schools and being encouragingly talked about in society. it just doesn't happen.

"What I think you don't get is that the statistics don't mean shit to guys who always had it in them. They need no game, no gender ratio shift to get what they want. My man has never been a beta, so I have a lot of keeping up to do."

I agree, try telling that to this sub tho lol. regarding me, I get women just fine, I just know that I have to do the majority of the work, the majority of the time, because of the gender ratio and its effects yet people want to sweep it under the rug.

the point is is that this is something that should be given more attention because this is where the true influencing factors pertaining to courting and to a lesser degree gender relations

men of previous generations firstly discussed the gender ratios effects and made this known within society (that doesn't happen now), and took action through regulating women via women having to pair up with a man because he had a job, as this doesn't happen anymore, the gender ratio's negative effects are in full swing.

What other action could be taken? That's a question worth exploring. There is something that could be done though.

The other thing is now society is too safe especially in a country like Australia where there's no guns, (resulting in average girls thinking they're too good for model looking guys) and what's happening is men aren't dying due to war or violence like they once used to resulting in too many men.
