Summary: A woman who couldn't get alphas to commit to her might treat her BB well in the beginning, not because she wants to deceive him but because the novelty of "finally! I have a real boyfriend now" makes her feel like she is in love.

Even a woman who has been majestically alpha widowed can feel attracted to her BB in the beginning.

Not only BP guys fall for this. Red pilled guys might fall for it, too, if they lack experience.

Body:

I decided to write about this because I have seen a lot of guys fall into this trap and because I constantly strugglde with this illusion myself. It's a disingenous trap and easy to fall into.

Don't think that a woman will always feel frustrated and like she has settled in the beginning of a BB Relationship.

We all know the symptoms of BB relationships. Duty-sex (if any), constant nagging, unrealistic expectations of what BB should be doing for her, cheating and so on. Generally speaking, she distances herself from him, puts no effort into the relationship, but expects a lot of effort from him.

Why would anybody fall for that?

We could just assume that she tries to lure him in because she wants to settle and consciously decides to trick him by treating him well, hiding red flags, not making him jump through hoops and giving him the best sex of his life.

However that's not always the case and the other possible (and very likely) scenario is far more disingenous, because it's not as easy to see through.

Take a woman who has been trying to get various alphas to commit to her, but to no avail. And now let's look how she feels when an average juuuust attractive enough for a relationship beta guy commits to her:

  • She feels validated in various ways. Before her BB, she was only validated for her looks and her skills in bed. (That's what kept her alpha fuckbuddies around). Now she feels validated for her personality and whatever she thinks she has to offer because of the fact that he has commited to her and because he doesn't get tired of telling her how special she is. Beta guy that he is.

  • The most attractive thing about her relationship will be the social validation/social proof that comes with having a boyfriend. She won't be seen alone at parties and events anymore. People will see her with a loyal guy who adores her. Some women might even envy her. (Validation again). But most important: The fact alone that she can say: "I have a boyfriend" means more to her than some of you might realise.

  • Most sluts, even the ones who are outspoken about how great casual sex is, hate it when people think of them as sluts. They don't want to be seen as easy-a. They don't want to be seen as the woman who can't get men to commit to her. Having a boyfriend automatically makes her look less like a slut.

  • This and the social proof aspect help her with female friends. She appears less threatening when she has a boyfriend. Her friends don't have to be concerned with her hitting on their boyfriends. And her single friends know that they won't have to compete with her. For example when they go out together and are hit on by handsome guys. On top of that she can finally talk about "relationship stuff" which is more pleasant for them than listening to her slut stories. Combine all that and she feels that her social life is improving, because other women suddenly like her. Women don't like sluts. It's as simple as that.

  • She will love the romantic/supporting stuff her BB does for her in the beginning, because it is new to her. You'll probably say "no way. It's not new to her. She always had supplicating beta guys who were in love with her and wanted to win her over with gifts and compliments, by listening to her for hours, being her emotional tampon and supporting her when she needs help." And you are right. But the big difference is that now she gets all this from a man she is at least slightly attracted to. And that is a night and day difference. It will make her feel good and she will like it and show this guy that she likes it. Basically all of the beta things we tell you not to do will actually work in his favor. (Again: in the beginning).

  • Even the sex with the BB might be great for her in the beginning. Just because this type of intimate and loving sex is new to her. She has been around the block a lot and finding someone who can give her a new experience in bed might turn her on as fuck.

I have seen all of the above countless of times and the list probably isn't even complete.

Now combine everything she suddenly gets:

Validation on all fronts, an improvement in her social life, supplicating that she actually enjoys and a new sexual experience.

This is enough to make her feel attracted to her BB or even make her feel like she has fallen in love with him.

She won't feel as if she has settled.

She falls in love with this new experience and feeling. Not with him but it will feel like it to her. And consequently she will treat him like an alpha in the beginning.

She will behave in a way that she couldn't intentionally fake if she was intentionally trying to lure a BB in. Hard to see through because her affection is genuine in the beginning.

But as we know as red pillers: Once the novelty of "finally! I have a boyfriend" wears off, all the red pill teachings of AFBB will apply again. She will start to resent him and treat him like the BB he is.

We can see how this would catch a blue pill beta guy completely off-guard. No surprises there and not our problem.

But the interesting thing is how it can affect aspiring red pillers who know all of the theory but lack experience. Here's some of the stuff that might happen to you if you fall into this category:

  • You might think that you have found a unicorn. The rules don't seem to apply. You can behave all beta around her and it doesn't seem to have a negative impact at all. She actually loves your beta traits. Unicorn.

  • You might overestimate your alpha qualities and attractiveness. You know the beta allowance scale. The more attractive and alpha you are, the more you can get away with beta stuff. However, in this scenario, it's not because of your attractiveness and alpha qualities, but because of the new experience you give her. This is the trap: "Wow, it's exactly like I have imagined it. I am a real catch because I have all the beta qualities, but I have started to lift and already have an above average physique and I am more intelligent than the gym-bros and I actually give a fuck. She thinks I could be a player but she respects me for choosing not to be one." You think: "I am unique because you don't find that combination elsewhere and that's what really sets me apart from other guys. I am like an LTR weapon of mass destruction. I guess TRP doesn't talk about this combination, because most of them think more about hookups than long term relationships. " This is very dangerous thinking and will hurt your motivation to work on the alpha qualities the red pill endorses. This happened to me and my friends a lot and judging from the questions and posts over at asktrp it happens to many red pillers who just completed their first steps of self-improvement.

  • Dating her will feel exactly like everything you had been longing for in your blue pill years. The frustration and the anger phase, everything you hate, everything you don't want to be true, everything you hoped the red pill was wrong about...there she is, giving you everything you wanted, feeding your hopes that TRP exaggerates.

  • The most dangerous and damaging thing for you red pillers whose end goal is a long-term-relationship: you stop spinning plates and commit too soon. So your end-goal is a long-term relationship? You'll feel as if you have already reached your end-goal. Emphasis on end-goal because there is *nothing that makes you feel as great as having reached your end-goal. (I don't have to list all the points why). You might be afraid of losing her and losing your status of "having reached your end-goal" if you continue looking for and spinning plates. Many red pillers don't understand the reason behind it anyway. You don't just spin plates because you like sex with different women. Spinning plates is a powerful tool to find exactly the woman who is compatible with you and relationship material. It's designed to give you an abundance mentality and to really get to know a woman before you commit to her. You don't only commit because you like the sex and the initial romantic stuff, but because she has proven to be compatible with you. You pick her out of multiple options (your plates).

  • If you have been a beta all your life, you will be overwhelmed by the validation you suddenly get. One of the first goals any red piller should aim for is getting rid of the need for validation. But the truth is that it isn't easy. Especially not if you have gone a long time without any validation. Be warned. Even if you have come a long way on your red pill journey, the need for validation might be your weakest spot. Might be your true Achilles' heel

Combine all of the above and you can understand that a former beta guy who has developed some alpha qualities and has improved his attractiveness can fall for an alpha widow even when he knows red pill theory.

Don't. Fall. Into. This. Trap.

Conclusion:

Even if you have come a long way on your red pill journey from beta to alpha guy, you have to be aware of the danger of falling back into blue pill world when you meet an alpha widow who celebrates the novelty of "I finally have a boyfriend". No, you haven't found a unicorn, no, you shouldn't stop looking for and spinning plates, no, you can't let your guard down.

Red pill rules always apply.
