I laugh at men who are so wimpy that they really really really need to buy a valentine gift or go a(expensive as hell) night's out with the missus. Have the balls to say no...lol

Oh btw for me v day is mgtow day so I'll buy me a decent bottle of whisky (not whiskey mind you) and a Cuban cigar. The perks of a real independent man.

Back in my blue-pill life, I remember both setting up dinner reservations two weeks prior to VD as her favorite restaurant was always booked, and picking out a nice card with a gift cert.

Came over to her house on Valentines day, let myself in and walked to the bathroom, and knocked. Heard shuffling of paper. I said "Hi, I'm here," she said "ok, be right out."

She walked out with my valentines card in her hand with the ink still wet. She looked at me and knew I knew she bought my card at the last minute...on her drive home, ran and signed it in the bathroom when she heard me knocking on the door. She just fessed up and said, I'm sorry, with a sheepish look on her face. She knew there was no hiding the fact she just wasn't into me any more. That's when I knew it was over. Lesson learned.

I knew a guy who once got his gf a gold ring out of a gumball machine, she thought it was a real gold ring until the gold coating started flaking off in the shower. Guys can try that and then make sure she "loses" the ring before she finds out it is fake

Why? Why not just bring her some flowers on Sunday? Because it's all for show! A complete fucking scam! "SEEEEEEE? See what my man did for meeeeee?!" She can rub it in the face of her catty female colleagues, and he gets brownie points in the process. Then the obligatory pictures and posts of it on facebook, to garner even more attention.

Although there was that one time I sent her flowers at work, and she brought home TWO bouquets:

"OMG you are sooooo thoughtful sending me TWO sets of flowers!"

"Um. Yeah. I only sent one, so...."

"Oh."

"So...yeah. Who sent you the other ones?"

"Oh, they must've gotten put on my desk by mistake. I think they're normally the ones that are on the reception desk."

"Right."

Turns out, they were sent by the guy she was sexting on the side.

My life sucked for a while.

I feel bad for the girls on the east coast, probably gonna have to wear something cute and freeze their ass to death on the east coast. Then at home after an expensive meal get fucked and probably have to put in the effort cause "he took me out on a date"

My family expects me to be depressed on VDay, because I've been single (and not looking) for a few years. In reality, I'm super happy that I don't have to buy flowers at a 10x markup or crappy chocolates in ugly boxes. I'd rather spend that money on a solo road trip this weekend.

The first year I was dating my ex I just sent her an e-card from Walgreens while she sent me chocolates and champagne while she was in Paris.
