365 pound deadlift with no belt. Going to try again today and learn how to use my belt.

I let myself ballon up to 33-34% body fat, and after 8 months, am down into the high 21% range and continuing to lean, while gaining muscle, with my body weight staying the same. 250 pounds down to 210.

Good shit man. I can tell by your hands at the end, that you've put in a lot of work. Those metal bars at the gym tear up my hands too. It's all good though. Cracked hands are the universal sign of a hard working man.

Get straps, and do it without mixed grip. Your bar tilts, you can injure yourself that way. Trust me, I speak from experience. It's good to do raw to train grip strength, but there are also much safer options to do it.

Work more on your form. Lower the weight if you have to. Explosiveness is also important in this, which come from your legs first.

If your gym has a hex bar then use that as well. It's much easier on your lower back.

365 is 165kg, which is nothing impressive especially for your body weight. However, with deadlift never make the mistake that I made, and make big increments in weight. The pain in your balls is not worth it.

Just keep grinding it. My PR is 210kg at 85kg, but that's when I was at my peak. Now I'm going with 180-200 and am completely fine with it.

Belts are good, some of them at least. I wear a very specialised one that covers my entire lower back. You cannot find a belt like this anymore :)

you shouldnt be constantly going for 1 rep maxes, thats a recipe for wear and tear and injuries. mix it up with a lot of different workouts, and go higher reps too. good luck brother
