r/personalfinance is the same thing. A good while back somebody wrote about how his girlfriend didn't work and he was basically contemplating a new job to support her and also finding ways to save on spending. Almost every big expensive he gave was due to his girlfriend like her wanting a bigger apartment, fancier garbage, her shopping habits.

I was downvoted to oblivion for saying "the best financial move to make is get rid of your girlfriend".

I essentially went MGTOW for this reason. But in doing so, it opened my eyes to a completely new world. The level of attacks, claims, and utter nonsense that was thrown my way because of it was absurd. It ripped the veil from the screen in no time flat. The base reason for my journey down this path isn’t even why I’m here anymore, it’s frankly because of my discovery of the lack of honor in the world. Because of it, I have no desire to ever participate again. Some people just give up and it certainly gets easier with each passing year, I do enjoy getting older. Past a certain age, you don’t even care anymore.

I’m not entirely sure why people struggle with this concept. Although, I’m not entirely sure if mgtow is even allowed fully. If mandated, why not just assign people to each other? If it’s such a big deal, I just won’t put in any work and just have some woman show up.
