Cry me a fucking river....for every woman that gets screwed over in divorce there are a legion of men in worse situations. Nobody gives a shit about them or cares if they are made homeless by the system, end up in prison or commit suicide because they see no future. No sane man would ever get married in today's society...it's pure misery and risk. These bitches are reaping the storm they sowed and I hope they enjoy it.

Force them all to work. This is their utopia. They apparently demanded personal responsibility, despite having none. So beat them with the whip of accountability. You'll have the same amount of income/wealth as the man; but you'll also have the same shitty life with long boring ass days at work slaving away for the almighty dollar. You can't have it both. Most men I know, with great carreers/wealth; has to sacrifise alot of time and fun they couldn't have. For having to work. They had to miss holidays, trips, outings, parties, etc..

I just looked it up for U.K. divorce stats. (from 2011 but you can see the trend).

The Office of National Statistics’ (ONS) most recent number crunch reveals that in 2011, the woman was the party granted (therefore initiating) the divorce in 66% of cases that year. It used to be an even higher share: 69% in 2001, and a whopping 72% at the start of the 1990s.

The woman profiled in the story gives women good advice at the end: don't get married. Same for men.

But most of the "problems" brought up in the article are bs. Women have no assets when the marriage ends. A) because they stopped working and have no relevant skills or pension, B) they are shit with money (unspoken in the article but we know that).

The Telegraph article also shreds this boo hoo Guardian article:

"So what are the factors driving that female choice to divorce? The popular misconception is that it’s all down to adulterous men and their wandering penises. But you’d be wrong. It's one thing if she was "forced" to stop working because of the husbands job or a controlling nature. This is not the majority of cases.

In my experience, women who want to work, get back to work. Those that don't go back ,usually brought up not working to "stay home with the children" in the first place, then she refused to go back and he acquiesced. Or she sucked at her job, lost said job (she may have deliberately sabotaged her job) and "couldn't find a new job" (she never really looked looked for one).
