Uncut here. I have a very faint memory of my dad teaching me to "pull the skin back when you go pee." I don't know if that's the reason but my foreskin moves freely so that there's no "hood" when I'm semi or fully erect. I dated this woman in the 90s. She was a mid 30s, tall, blond, hot, musician who had been around enough. This was before the internet was common and before smart phones. She once told me that in the beginning, she couldn't tell if I was circumcised or not.

Actually circumcision is a hygienic practice to rid the folds in the foreskin from std related bacterias. The foreskin is also a place for smegma to accumulate that can be really nasty. When after urination the urea acid could easily accumulate in the folds of the foreskin. All this could be throughly cleaned using soap and water. But standard practice in the west there is no water bidet in the urinal or in the wc so if male urines a number of times a day at work or outside and only wait to go home to clean once a day at the end of the day, the bacterias and uric acid build up can be nasty. Foreskin is like appendix, absolutely no use to human body so just get rid of them. It’s not about religion or culture, just simple hygiene.
