I’m not in tech but I work my ass off in a union job. It honestly almost consumes my life though. I make about $110,000 if you count the health insurance that they pay for.

It’s not that glamorous. I miss my free time

Right place, right time, took advantage of opportunities and, being MGTOW, I could take risks the pussy worshippers can’t.

Since there’s no threat of alimony or child support, or some clam wasting my tine, I have far more money available to invest, experiment with, and the like.

Don’t forget being MGTOW already puts you ahead of many people that have a higher salary then you. So this alone is a extremely precious knowledge many men wish to obtain in their early age. Divorce and child support destroys many successful men.

It's a statistical impossibility for everyone of us to be financially successful. I came to embrace that fact and decided to be successful on other areas such as health, I mean, 1 million won't do you any good if you expend it all in an ER excursion after a heart attack.

Living life is better then being wealthy. Everything I own is my, I been debit free for 19 years. I don't do any kind of subsistence abuse. All my bills are payed monthly without struggling. Even surprise things that come up, no big deal I have it cover. All this sound like I'm wealthy. No, I don't make 100k either. Yes I have money to cover my basics and I don't have a wish list of having more. Less which is closer to nothing is better then having everything at reach for you to loose it all, after a job lost. I don't live pay check by pay check. I'm 55 years old and I know how to save money and live within my means. My smart phone bill is only $200 a year(prepay). I did had my phone bill down as low as $134 a year, but I made more friends. I don't have a TV cable bill, I cut my code like 17 years ago. I do have the Internet and that's all you need to watch TV and Movies. I don't have any pay subscription to watch TV or Movie programs. All you need is the Internet and everything can be found free if you look for it. I pay cash for my car, right now I have a $4,100 2006 Ford Freestyle and it runs great. I travel from Wyoming all the way to Maine and Florida Keys. I might keep it for another 2 years and buy something else by then. I rent and don't own. Small one bedroom apartment for only $450 month and it's not a dump. Cut a budget and stick to it. I build a budget a long time ago. I make more money now then when I made up this budget to go by on. I never raise my budget(because I never add anything to it), so the extra money just keeps building up. That's why I have money all the time. I live within my means and live as cheap as possible, but be comfortable what I'm doing and having fun at the same time. You don't have to make 100k a year to be happy.

You may be comfortable and highly paid - if your skills and contribution to the company or your employer is rare and lucrative - but you’ll always be making more money for your employer than they’re paying you. It’s necessarily how businesses stay afloat. If you want to make much money the first step is to work on your own hustle. When you work for yourself the only limit is what you set yourself (or hours in the day - time is absolutely the most precious commodity).

I make fuck all, but I don't work that much either. I have a stress free life and work from my home office. I'd love to have more money but to be honest, my life is awesome.

My lack of savings may bite me in the ass in the future though. Fuck it, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

My low income has the desired effect of keeping gold digging whores away from me too.

Saving money is a function of the spread between the cost of living and your wages.

Get out of the city and cost of living goes down, dramatically.

Get out to the oilfield and wages rise, dramatically.

Seems to work.

Get a good job. (software development $100-500k, trades (a call is $300-1000), Healthcare pays well). Having good income is crucial.
My frugality pays off. Monk mode. I spend around $15k/yr including housing in San Diego. Invest the rest. I make $160k-200k/yr gross income (after tax, it becomes 104-130k take home). I'm putting every penny I have left to stock index fund. 11 yr into the work force, I'm now at $2.2M networth. It is growing conservatively at estimated 5%/yr. So, I get about 110k/yr extra without doing anything now.

Invest you must. Time is your friend. Impulse is your enemy. Stick to simplicity. Stay the course

Its not about how much you make, its about how much you save. You can live really cheap as a man, can put all that extra time om focusing on yourself. Improving your carreer amd taking more risks since nobody depend on you. You can also put in more hours at work, or less to enjoy life. Being mgtow give you a hudge freedom that most married man can only dream of.

I wouldn't believe most of them. Sure there are some exceptions. But 0.5 straight out of college? I highly doubt it. And the main question is how important is the amount you make? Like TFM said: if you can live and are able to purchase anything you need, you're rich already. Wealth =/= necessarily the amount of cash you have or make. Look at celebs f.e. the have millions yet live in a wretched isolated situation. The only peers they have are fellow celebs. And what if you happen to not like them! Take Kim Kardashian f.e....

I'm a corporate slave but in a relatively important decision-making position, albeit in a junior role. All-in i'm making six figures pre-tax. I put in my additional slave work at the beginning.

I took on a massive student loan to go to a prestigious school for my masters, wasted away two years of my life in Management Consulting in the worlds worst city (NYC), and now have this intense 60+ hour a week job in corporate strategy.

The thing is, I don't spend much money on anything. I'm also okay with living with my parents again till I save up enough money to put a down payment on a house (hoping to get there in a year).

Example: If I make net $2,000 every 2 weeks, I only spend money on my student loan min payment (~500 / 2 weeks) and my car insurance and lease payment (~300 / 2 weeks) and maybe 200 total on outside food/nicotine/gas/phone over 2 weeks. Eventually, that "net-positive" ends up accumulating.

Not everyone is earning the big bucks. Those posts are mostly the self-reporting lucky ones - and you can't believe them all. But basically live minimalistically and INVEST what you don't spend. Don't just save it. That was my mistake in my 20's and now I'm only starting to grow that pile of savings

Please shows us those posts. Making 500k right out of college is almost impossible.

After you have a good deal of money saved (capital), you can invest it to get returns on it. Some ppl start small businesses, others buy properties for rent, and others invest long-term in the stock market.

As long as you work for someone else, it's very hard to make it past 150k. But with salary plus returns on investments, it's very possible to make more than that.

tbh i don't have an answer for that, there are no secret recipes, couple of habits goes long way, 1. everything is an investment, 2. work is valuable but ideas are invaluable, If you're lucky, you would be making 25 times of that, and i am being very very conservative here ;)

I would guess that you need to put your resume out to higher paying jobs in perhaps higher cost of living areas, if you want to. You might end up in a job that you like less than your present job also, so it pays to do your homework on the firm involved. You might have to tough it out in a less than perfect firm for a couple of years before you move again. After a while, you should be making more than you are now.

Didnt go to college spent the last 9 years struggling to make business a success now we do about $30,000 a month before expenses, I work in Construction, kinda just fell in my lap and it was a blessing. I've lived with very little and I'm living with a lot, but I could just as easily go back to very little; less headaches.

I am working in logistics. Live in countryside. So money is alright.

I don't have wife or kids, so I can spend more time at work.. = more overtime money. All my colleagues are jealous for that.. and in the same time saying why don't get girlfriend and marry her. :D
