Difficult to accept the OP, but I'd like to offer an alternate theory of "Pair Bonding". It generally applies equally to men and women.

Pair Bonding would say that we are most loyal to the first individual that we are romantic or have sex with. We "feel" strong togetherness with that person. Perhaps activating a chemical in the brain. And after that first relationship breaks, every person we have sex with after, we have less and less ability to "feel" pair bonded. Until the point where, if we've had sex with +20 people, then the ability to be loyal has been extremely diminished. We've grown accustomed to changing relationships and moving on.

Women just happen to be disproportionately affected, because their opportunities for sex and relationships are greater. This used to be constrained by ideas of religion and "chastity", but in modern society, slut walks and tinder have become the norm.

I don't know about this whole "evolved to be disloyal" model.

I don't think this is a hard coded, genetic certainty, because I can find too many examples of women becoming extremely loyal to the point where they throw themselves on funeral pyres when their husband dies, throw themselves off of bridges and slit their wrists (and those of their children) when enemies invade, stay in bad relationships with losers who beat them, and so on to believe that women are born disloyal, and are willing to throw over their man at the drop of a hat the moment a better prospect comes along.

It has a lot to do with the circumstances the woman finds herself within. And the instincts are going to conform with what the environment requires.

If you have a woman in a situation like ours, where life expectancy is high, safety is guaranteed, and men are everywhere, of course she's going to feel the urge to shop around, and "upgrade" whenever she can. I wouldn't even be surprised if there was some natural "trigger" that turns her instincts this way, should this situation happen.

But that kind of instinct is very maladaptive in other situations, where life expectancy is short, life is dangerous, and men are in short supply. In that kind of situation, you are loyal to the man who will have you, and you don't give him any reason to doubt you. Men are hard to find, much less "alphas". Cheating risks too much, because you don't know if you'll get another one, or one who is as good, especially if the man knows it's in your nature to betray. And if there is one thing about women, they do not particularly enjoy uncertainties.

You can see this in action in places like Africa, or South America, especially during wartime, when men are in short supply and times are dangerous. For as much as has been said about the whole "war brides" phenomenon that happened in France after Germany occupied it, that was a very stable situation among very affluent peoples that recognized the Geneva Convention. It was a whole lot different than Darfur, or Rwanda, or Nicaragua during the 40 year civil war, or Belfast during the Troubles. Even today, in some parts of rural central America, you can see clips of women getting beaten and burned alive for infidelity, not by their husbands, but by the rest of the women. That's how taboo the women feel about it down there.

I don't discount that this disloyalty the TRP post talks about is a natural instinct women in our society can't help but feel. I just don't think it's genetic. Perhaps there's some cue, some pharamones, or some sort of developmental pattern that gets expressed when circumstances are like ours.

Because women just don't do this kind of thing in other places, regardless of whether they have the opportunity to do so or not. You can't say the laws prevent women from disloyalty when law and order breaks down, sometimes for generations, and they are still loyal, regardless of the lack of law.

This really doesn't stand up to close examination. Since we're looking at it from an evolutionary standpoint, we should look at how animals choose mates in the wild. They usually mate for life (meaning the female won't just go to the next strongest male that comes along) or mate within a system where males fight for dominance for a female. Which is obviously what the image is referencing, but in those systems a new male usually kills all the old male's offspring. See lions, bears, and wolves.

So a new, stronger mate requires a female to start from square one in terms of passing down her genes. Since every day in the wild is a roll of the dice, switching mates decreases her change of successfully passing down genes.

Of course I'm firmly of the opinion that evolutionary psychology is bullshit psuedoscience anyway, but if you're gonna lean on it at least do it right.
