I feel like a lot of dudes do not know about feminism in Japan, Korea, China, etc, or dating standards. If you think American feminism is extreme or that our society has become too favourable for women, you haven't seen the current state of east Asia. Eastern Europe has some large extreme feminist movements as well.

I could ramble on and on about examples but I feel like some people do know about this - why do men here act like they have it the worst of anyone? 

Realistically western euro/American men have it easiest - freedom of sexuality and less responsibility than the third conservative world, without the extreme radical feminism in other first world countries. There's no where on earth where it's easier to be a male than right here.

South Korea's WOMAD and Megalia are two (very popular) radical feminist groups online that go to the extent of threatening and recording physical assault on men, encouraging assault on men etc.

A lot of Chinese people online joke about the "boyfriend slave", it's basically a cultural running joke. You will see boyfriends waiting in lines where they camp out overnight at stores selling women's products, to rush the stores at midnight or the next morning, sometimes getting into physical fights with the other guys, to buy the stuff for their girlfriends - it's considered being a bad or lazy boyfriend if you're not willing to do this.

In China and Japan, I can't attest to Korea, it would be treated very badly to suggest splitting a bill, despite being common in Europe and semi common in the US. It would probably get your date to walk out on you. It is considered insulting as a man for a woman to pay even her portion.

The gender imbalance in China coupled with radical feminism has essentially allowed girls to demand to be treated as queens - here men complain that "oh, she can reject this guy and get 20 more waiting in line!" Well, take that and make it 100+. You see some extreme shit in China (and Japan) where girls will completely dump men on the spot for things like, buying them the right thing in the wrong color, being slightly late, etc. Essentially, the extreme imbalance in dating has created a culture in which women can afford to be insanely demanding, picky, and high standards without necessarily needing to do much.

Across Asia but especially in Taiwan and Korea, many many women are choosing to drop out of dating society entirely, kind of like MGTOW except they actually commit to it. This, similar to China, leaves men with a very small pool of women that they have to compete over, far more than in the west.
