Recently I read "Game" by Roosh V. It's an incredible book and I highly recommend it. However, one piece of his advice I tried to implement did not serve me well at all.

In the book he writes how when you're in social settings you should keep the disposition of a hunter. You're hunting for attractive females and weary of other males. It results in a pretty neutral expression.

Here's the thing. I'm a pretty smiley guy and enjoy cracking jokes. I had braces when I was younger and pretty much every girl I go on a date with tells me I have a great smile. When I tried to implement this "hunter mentality" I found it almost took the wind right out of my sales. My social confidence felt completely diminished.

Today when I went out I found myself smiling a lot more and as a result I could sense girls gravitating towards me. The whole stoic thing really did nothing for me.
