Stupid question but I thought it was pretty funny and it was on my mind.

Right now I own a 2014 Ford Escape. Paid her off in full, too, and my insurance is good because i have a total clean slate record. Anyways.

No ones ever really commented on my car other than amazement that I actually have a vehicle. One girl I was seeing thought it was funny I blasted music in a car that looks like a big toe.

So I’ve saved up a lot of money at my job and I’m getting ready to sell my Escape. She’s a great cat by the way. I’ve spent a lot of time working on her and whatnot and overall drives like a charm, but with some big life things coming up I decided to start fresh.

However I’ve seen people get a lot of female attention for their cars. Now I know you should never do something solely for the praise of a girl, but it is a nice bonus and honestly I have a lot of options.

But an example is one of my coworkers. We’re the same age except he drives a 2012 Ford Mustang GT. All the girls love it and he looks bad-ass driving in with it. I’ve never gotten any looks for my Escape (which is a great car by the way. No problems with her utility).

Anyways so after a lot of consideration I’ve decided to buy.... an El Camino. I don’t know man, something about them just really piques my interest. However whenever I tell people I’m thinking of getting an El Camino, they always say that it’s trashy or just cringe for a little bit.

Keep in mind after I sell Calypso (my 2014 Escape), I’ll have enough to buy a new car, so this isn’t really a money issue. I’m not even a classic car enthusiast, it’s just I have this strange affinity for the El Camino. It’s kinda like how when people tell you to not do something, you do it.

Long story short, does type of car have a bearing on SMV? And most of all, will getting a divisive car like an El Camino make me unattractive and white trash looking? I’m still tryna get laid man.

Also I have a mullet on my head so I’ve been told that if I buy an El Camino as well, it would be like I was frozen on the 80s and thawed out today. That was a joke by one of my coworkers I just thought it was funny.
