Hi everyone,

I post this as a genuine search for advice as I have been reflecting a lot.

I come from a religious background and while I have wavered in and out of it, in the end, I truly believe in my religion's core values.

That being said, my first couple of years in college were confusing and rather embarrassing. My peers believed in the sexual freedom of women, and I bought into it. I still deal with the guilt and shame of those times. The fact that I did not feel liberated at all even when I had "FWBs" is what made me resonate with this subreddit.

However, I wholeheartedly disagree with r/TheRedPill and how redpill men can be truly horrifying and disrespectful. I believe a relationship needs mutual trust and respect, no matter your beliefs. I don't believe being a RPW means you disrespect yourself and let yourself be treated however a man wants.

Fast forward to now, I'm doing a lot of soul-searching about my values and what I want from a partner. I believe a woman should strive to be classy, kind, elegant, and a good mother. I strive to find a man who can be a good father and leader of the household.

However, I'm also a very driven person. I went to a top university and am attending a top medical school. I don't want to give my career up and my hard work (and tuition!) so far for a future partner, although I have absolutely nothing against women who do. While I don't want to be making more than my partner, I also don't want the partner to be making all the decisions in the household as I'll be making a good portion of the household income as well.

So I don't know -- genuinely -- if I have a place in this community or not. I care about the issues of the world, and I want someone who can share a passion for doing good. I was just called out by a male pursuer that it seems like "I just want a carbon copy of myself" and that I seem like a SJW because I said I want to serve the homeless population and that I want someone who understands the need to give back to communities.

So, ladies, please advise me! I want to join you guys but I'm honestly not sure if I'm too "feminist" for feeling this way.
