It's educational, not something to idealize. Honestly there could be classes taught on this book and everyone would have their own personal takeaway. But as someone else said, the cool girl monologue is so culturally relevant and defines a modern pick me. A pick me driven to revenge is not only entertaining, it's somewhat satisfying to watch her systematically destroy him. The ending was not so satisfying, I hated seeing her go back and Ben Affleck gain the audience's sympathy, but otherwise it's a great watch.
