She's obsessing and is uncomfortable.

The moment you take her back, she'll be comfortable, but she won't be happy. She'll realize that, and she'll lead the relationship on until she finds a branch to swing on. Once she does, she'll be able to end the relationship on her terms.

Just tell her that isn't a good idea, or don't respond at all. Don't rub it in, you'll just feel like a shitter later for pointlessly being a dick, unless you're a sociopath in which case go ahead idc. Don't take your own sloppy seconds unless you got some other bitches in rotation.

Personally I'd give it a try, because it sounds like you want to. Dont put too much stock into what you read for advice like this. You'll just get a bunch of "dump her bro" but as long as she agrees to therapy if its really that bad.. go for it.. you can always end it again and idk. People can change if they want it for themselves.

Hi OP, I’m in the same situation. The facts are we dated for 2 years and she was cute but overweight, I tried to help her lose weight the entire time and she wouldn’t listen to my advice. We broke up after fighting about it recently. Now she’s begging for me back, saying I’m her best friend (sadly I know that’s a bad sign) and she misses me so much etc and wants to change. Obviously I don’t expect her to suddenly improve herself, but to be blunt I’ll take the company and sex for now.

The thing is, the entire relationship dynamic has changed now. We canceled all of our future plans together when we broke up, and I told her if she wants to be with me again then she has to respect my independence, give me space, etc so it’s actually massively swung in my favor. Just be careful that she doesn’t fully lock you down again.

Do what most men do. Take her back, accidentally impregnate/wife her and deal with her issues that'll never change for the rest of your life. You've already escaped jail, why would you return to your cell?
