Most of the posts on here are about dumping LVM who treat girls shitty and I’ve come to the point where that’s very easy for me because I recognize trash behaviour right away. But what I struggle with is rejecting guys who are genuinely nice and caring who I’m just not attracted to. I’m overly empathetic and often fall into the trap of having sex with guys who I’m not attracted to/don’t want to yet because I know it’ll make them happy. I know it’s bad, I just need advice on thought process to stop this behaviour.

Right now I’m struggling with it because this guy I’m friends with who I have casual sex with sometimes is basically in love with me, he treats me very nicely, buys me things, good listening skills, etc and has asked me to date but I told him I don’t want a relationship right now. I have been very clear with him about this but I can tell he still has feelings for me. I am just not attracted to him enough even though he treats me well. Honestly I don’t even want sex with him deep down, I’ve just been doing it due to pity?? Wanting to make him happy?? I don’t know. I guess I want to end our friendship and end hanging out but I can’t get past that feeling of guilt because I know he is a good person. I know I shouldn’t feel guilty, I just need some advice for getting around these feelings.
