Your boyfriends were pulling some shit. They were either talking trash about you to their friends which made them think that they could speak to you like that or maybe they were blaming you for not being able to hang out.

I even had a boyfriend one time who told me his friends said nasty things about me, but to this day I don't know if it's even true because it didn't really make any sense at the time. I think it was a lie to fuck with my head. A lot of men are abusive, manipulative scum.

You can tell a lot about someone by their friend group. What a person tolerates from their friends gives insight into their real personality and values. It’d be a red flag for me, especially! if my dude didn’t defend me.

My narc exes friends were always dicks to me. His friends are a reflection of him, if they are dicks (and misogynist assholes), he’s a dick (and misogynist asshole).

Bad friends means he’s a bad person too or all his friends want a chance with you. Both are bad.

I am mixed race and I remember once one of my white ex boyfriend's friends make a racist joke around the table at a pub. My ex didn't say another and it was his best friend who actually told this guy off. I lost a lot of respect for my ex that day. A man who doesn't defend you is low value.
