So I found this dude. Bumble. Grad student, he’s 4 years older (22 & 26) but we’ve been chatting. We’re both in research, he does pottery, I paint, he seems interesting in conversation, real quick wit.

He’s not exceptionally attractive, but not bad looking. I’m somewhat interested in meeting him, currently looking for a short-term thing. I haven’t given that information yet. (Not a booty call, but I might be moving in about 6 months, so not serious. Maybe some potential though if my current plans change)

The conversation is lit, completely non-sexual but entertaining. He just hasn’t escalated it yet to asking for plans.

Should I say something like, “So, are you looking for a penpal?” I’m trying to prompt him to move.
