I have been seeing this man for a number of months, he is a wonderful and true HVM and he always goes above and beyond to treat me well. I have applied FDS principals to much success but now he is questioning how committed I am and why he seems to be giving up more than me (when I have plans I will not cancel them if he wants to hang out, whereas he always volunteers to though I never ask him to do so). I think he is in his head because women have jumped at the chance to be in a relationship with him or to put a label on it while I am generally unbothered. He is not overly jealous or possessive and would never try to control me but I can tell he is rattled. I know he is devoted to me and is exclusive with me but how can I reassure him without losing the upper-hand?
Full Disclosure: I work in an industry and company that is about 95% male, I do flirt a little to gain advantage and I am upfront about this, he has told me (somewhat) jokingly he wouldn’t tolerate it from any girl besides me. I am 23 and I do not crave commitment (nor do I know that I am emotionally ready for it), however, he is a wonderful guy and I would rather not lose him.
