Hi Girls,
I broke up with my ex maybe 1.5 weeks ago a few days after I started reading FDS. We talked on the phone on Sunday to kind of clear the air and answer any of his questions and I am SO GLAD I broke up with him based on that conversation and just how he revealed his thinking to me. So towards the end of the call he said something like "If you start seeing someone else, unfriend me on Facebook" and I just said "ok, sure." I read the FDS post this morning on here about not being friends with your exes and I was like "I should unfriend him today anyway along with my other ex that I'm still following on Twitter." I don't want to be tempted to look at their stuff and get a hit of whatever-it-is I'm getting when I look at their stuff. That hit I'm looking for, whatever it is, will only set me back.

So I unfollowed my ex that I was following on Twitter and then I went to unfriend my most recent ex on Facebook and he posted pictures yesterday of him hiking with another woman. I do not think he is actually dating her but there's a photo of her touching his arm. Up until this point this guy has only ever posts photos of food. NEVER of himself or other people. All photos on FB where he is in them are photos that other people posted and tagged him in. It is so out of the ordinary for him to post photos that include himself or other people.

The year+ that we dated he never posted photos of us together. We have photos up that other people took and tagged us in at weddings etc. He posted photos of my work holiday party that didn't include either of us just like scenic photos of the bridge we sailed by and like blurry people dancing.

The photo he posted yesterday was a photo that someone else took of them. It would mean that either that person used his phone to take this candid photo OR someone took it and shared it with him and then he posted it. I know that the fact that I went down this rabbit hole is already too much energy but I'm just so shocked by the pettiness of it.

Anyway my brain just said "...Nope, don't care" and I clicked unfriend.
