Also, one thing they don’t teach when teaching about consent, is how to determine whether you want sex, or you want what you believe sex will get you. Young girls tend to believe that having sex will make men like them better, so they agree to the mediocre to bad sex.

I have, as well. Put out soooo much for a guy who just wasn’t worth it. He would complain about the number of blowjobs I gave him (it was more or less every time we had sex or were intimate), but I can count on one hand the number of times he went down on me. I even cried when this dude said he didn’t want to date me and CONTINUED to see him after that. Eugh, I was so dumb lol. Never again.

Huh... I really do only get infatuated with guys because they make ME feel good and then can’t stand it when they lose interest ME. I realized I never actually loved a guy. It was all about my ego and being addicted to validation from outside sources.
Realizing this would have saved me a lot of “heart break”. Especially since I missappropriated my insecurities as love.

I am definitely guilty of this. One of my biggest issues has been talking to dudes clearly not on my level, and wanting it to “work” simply as validation of my worth or something. Working on this now!
