Do certain areas have more HVM?

I don’t know. My most recent ex was one of the worst boyfriends I’ve ever had and he was all the right things at first. Great job, clean nice home he owned, paid for everything, seemingly empathetic and caring... But as time went on I realized he was trying to mold me into a Stepford wife with abuse and manipulation. He was awful. I don’t think he had an ounce of real love for me at all.

So I’m honestly pretty jaded. There are low and negative value men at every level economically. Definitely understand wanting a comfortable life, I do too. But it’s not necessarily an easier path to finding a good man, unfortunately.

No. I live in one of the most affluent zip codes in the US. The men here are shit too. Also, some of the wealthiest people I've ever met were the cheapest, by far.

If wealth is a strict requirement, then yes, you can consider narrowing your pool to wealthier areas. But just remember it’s only the first filter of many and make sure you’re really good at keeping a level head when he’s taking you to expensive restaurants, and don’t let it cloud your judgement.

There isn't anything wrong with wanting to be comfortable.

I suspect that HVM tend to make better employees/employers and may do better on average in the workplace than LVM. But I'm from an old money family and I can tell you that inherited privilege can allow LVM to be successful, because they've got a head start (education, inheritance, social polish). And of course psychopathy can lead to success in some high paying fields. So it depends.

You won't find too many HVM in the underclass, though. I've lived in slums and saw a lot of personality disorders as well as general LVness in long term resident single men.
