Your bmi is 34.5 You are obese. Not curvy, not "round is a shape". Obese.

You seem really unhealthy, im sure i dont have to tell you how bad this is for your health right now. At 27 you should be in the best shape of your life. You need way more than walking to get out of that shape. Try swimming, martial arts, try sports until you find one you like.

You should consider yourself in emergency, you have at least 60 pound to lose.

at least you are trying to get better. I respect that.

Hey man! I used to be 205 lbs of pure fat when I was in high school. What i did, no food after 8 pm. Drink lots of water - This will make you lose weight fast! try to drink close to a gallon a day.

Start power lifting- once the gyms open start doing the big 3. Deadlifts, Squats, Chest Press. Do form over heavy weight.

Also make sure you warm up with a walk and then stretch after your nice and warm.

Chicken, Fish, not a lot of red meat
Brown rice, Veggies
Meal portion control, don't overeat a lot in one sitting.
space your meals and snacks out 5-7 times a day.
Fruits, be careful not too eat too many fruits as they are high in sugar. - Make it like its a treat.

It's going to be difficult but you keep pushing through it. Just get mad and angry about it and push through y our workouts.

NO SOY - avoid soy at all costs. Stop drinking Milk - Buy almond milk.

Pre workout for beginner - 1 spoon full of instant coffee in cold water - Chug it.

Once you start hitting a steady flow - you'll wanna move onto pre workouts etc etc. - Full spectrum RX pre workout- this will turn you into a madman. You have to cycle on/off these after a month or so.

If you want to destroy you cardio workouts - Buy a speedrope, their like $20 on amazon. Watch youtube videos. Difficult but you can burn a crazy amount of calories with this and its fun! no pain no gain. Don't buy expensive gym equipment. start off with the basics.

At home - Body workouts - Jumprope - boxing bag - HIIT training. There are a ton of youtube videos on this.

You've got a lot of extra weight it looks like but it is manageable. On the plus side, if you choose to start seriously building muscle you can use the weight to your advantage and turn yourself into a TANK which is what I'm currently working towards.

Anyways bro, if you have a bike or access to a bike I highly suggest that you use it. One thing that keeps me so slim is that I ride a singlespeed bike (or a geared bike on the hardest gear) straight up hills. It's excruciating at first but if you keep at you will not only enjoy yourself but you will be dropping the pounds faster than you can read this message.

More power to you brother, I hope you get the results you desire.

I’m gonna be real with you. Your arms are very lacking in muscle and definition and it looks like you might have a beer belly coming in. Avoid the alcohol, get into that moderate exercise and most importantly DIET. If you are running even 10 miles every day but you are eating 4-5k calories every day then you won’t be losing any weight. Eat less, eat healthy, avoid alcohol, exercise moderately, and lift some weights. I used to look pretty similar to you but now I have turned my whole life around. You got this man, we all believe in you.

And try not to have too many cheat days, they aren’t worth it at the end of the day. It’s good to treat yourself but don’t do it every other day. Maybe once a week.

5'8" you need to be 140-160 depending on how muscular you are. You carry it well but you're obese.

I would introduce a lot of cardio. Walking is too ineffective and running would be dangerous for your knees. Start cycling, preferably every day. Stationary, road, mtb, does not matter.

It's not good but you're headed in the right direction if what you say is what you're actually doing. I used to be a personal trainer and I always told people to not get discouraged and keep at it by considering, "you didn't get to where you are in one day, what makes you think it'll go away that fast?" Good luck, you'll get there if you keep walking the path you're on.

I'm the same height as you. I can say that hitting 200 should be your minimum goal, 180 is totally attainable, anything past that and you'll be golden. You'll not only look better but you'll feel a LOT better. It only takes minor changes to hit these goals- mainly just smaller portions, healthier food choices, and a little bit of exercise. Avoid sugar and HFCS, cut down on the gluten and carbs/ starch, switch from beer to clear liquor, and eat plenty of proteins (even if they're supposedly "bad for you" like bacon, sausage, etc. They actually increase testosterone). Think chicken, fish, steak, turkey, etc with plenty of veggies. Potatoes and rice aren't necessarily bad, but they are a source of carbs and starch. Dial back on the cheese and gravy if you indulge in those (cheese is my kryptonite).

If you drink lots of fluids you won't consume as much food. Don't eat because it's "that time", only eat if you're truly and actually hungry. You don't need to become a chef, but grab a few spices to experiment with. It can really take the somewhat unsatisfying healthy food to a whole new level. Believe it or not many TV dinners are actually quite healthy nowadays and the spices and seasonings make them fuckin delicious. Healthy Choice, Cafe Steamers, and Marie Callender have many that are low fat, low sodium, high protein, and have no preservatives. If you eat fast food I'll come through this app and punch you. You've already made some good progress, now implement some minor changes and you'll see some drastic results in no time. Good luck!

Unless you're really muscular, BMI calculators give a reasonable approximation of a healthy weight. You're definitely on the right track. I lost a lot of weight simply counting calories. Avoiding carbs and getting most of your calories from meat and vegetables makes it easier to eat fewer calories.

Not sure about your lifestyle choices, but a few simple yet impactful things have already been mentioned.

No alcohol, drink plenty of water, get plenty of restful and meaningful sleep, and exercise 4-5 times a week that you enjoy. For hormonal reasons, lifting heavy (properly) is best with HIIT workouts. But do something you enjoy doing. Eat the right stuff, there's no secret but good fats and proteins and lots of different colors on your plate go a long way.

And acknowledge that it is going to take time. By the end of the year you should be feeling a lot better about your situation if you follow those guidelines and continue to build on yourself

You are fat. I don't even know how you can breathe with that belt on. If this is how you are after losing fat, then it means you need some serious long-term planning.

Look, cut down on soft drinks and carbs in general, but especially sugar. Look into ketosis if you are not diabetic or something. Also, the best way to lose fat, from which 90% of your success will come from, is to continue counting calories and start making and eating your own meals for 5-6 days of the week. Get an app to track your caloric intake over time. You'll learn about macro nutrients over time, maybe over a couple months or more, so don't stress over it.

It's going to take time. You didn't get fat in 2 months, you won't get unfat in 2 months. Just be patient and stick to your overall effort, regardless of how many failures and discipline breakdowns you have along the way (there will definitely be many). Just think long term and stick to it.

And as you have tiny amounts of successes, they will motivate you to stick to your effort.

But back to the topic, man you are unhealthy. You need to make a long term plan and start making some long-term changes. The walk is nice, but it's only a temporary measure that you will do for a while and then probably drop it. The change in eating habits is the one that will probably give you an extra decade (or two) to live.

I’m 5’10 and was 240 at my worst. I’m now down to 150. For your height you need to be as close to 140 as you can get depending on muscle mass.
