Look at all the comments condemning the person who put their hands around the dogs throat. This really opened my eyes up to how messed up BDSM is. It would never ever be tolerated in any other aspect of life, unless of course it’s violence against women.

I think people get so upset about dogs because of how convenient it is to advocate for them. They don't ask you why you didn't call the police, why you are still friends with the person who abused them, don't force you to confront your own misogyny and/ or entitlement. They aren't angry when you pity them and try to help them with thoughts and prayers.

I have 2 doggos & a cattoman and I’m constantly touching their throats. Difference is they love it & me, and only get scritches & love. That poor pupper needs a new home.

Side note; out of all the domestic violence red flags, a man putting his hands on your throat is numero uno on the list. If a partner ever aggressively goes for your throat he’s much more likely to kill you than the next DV perp who may only gaslight & keeps to torso hitting.
