I see so much of this in the gaming community, mainly from insecure women who are still in the 'not like other girls' and queen bee stages. I am guilty in the past of being unfriendly towards other women because I was jealous and insecure with myself and also was surrounded by shitty male 'friends' who got a kick out of women tearing each other down. It was only once I stopped hating myself, kicking out shitty males out of my circles and cutting off the pickmeishas that also encouraged the toxicity that I stopped.

I now have more friendships with great and amazing women on and offline thanks to getting my shit together! Just like self hatred and toxic people around you can breed this kind of nonsense, self love and being around HVM and HVW can breed not only good for yourself it also helps others get out of the cycle if they choose to.
