lawn mowing, pizza delivery, handyman repairs, buying fixer uppers renovating them and selling them. Plenty of options that dont require tech or computers.

learn hvac and offer a local company to work after hours. seasonally this could be pretty lucrative. In the midwest the hvac guys run all out May and June so a second shift option could be a nice way to make decent cash in a short period of time.

you can sell weed if its legal in your state. its pretty easy money but you have to know what your doing and have some nice connects. also you cant plant a garden and try to grow your own.

If you live in a city there is a good Chance of blood plasma Centers (or for other blood parts) beeing there. They pay decently, 23€ for about 50min in germany, plus driving time. usually possible twice per week, during which you can read books etc without too much inconvenience. 60 time a year with occasional bonis can be around 1500 annually, enough for food and some hobbies.

what are you good at? If not much: Money to be made cleaning gutters, landscaping, the big companies charge alot and underbidding them a bit can earn $$$. Not a high cost to enter the business. I tried to hire someone just to install rain-collecting canisters, literally no one responded ...maybe they assumed it was low-paying job?. But I have decent income and I'd pay alot just to not have to do it myself. Opportunities exist.

I'm a pretty decent model painter. Looking at getting some models to build and sell for the addicts in the tabletop gaming world.

Lots of people want to play but don't have the time or patience to make their armies look baller. I enjoy doing it, but don't really play, so its maybe a good way to do my hobby for free and make a little.

Hanging pictures and artwork. If you can use the calculator on your phone and you’re steady with a hammer, people pay big bucks for it. Only Issue I can see with this is having to have a vehicle to move a ladder and a small tool bag around.

I'm considering going the roadside stall route and buy me some headgear and tools wholesale, buy me a cheap table and chair, an umbrella, and set up with some other gentlemen and ladies that sell their wares, maybe even sell cold drinks on this very hot and dry spell.

This group of roadside vendors that I'm referring to were setting up on this particular road I was driving on on my way to work before the county went ahead and closed it down for a massive repaving. They were selling anything from belts and wallets to fresh fruit and vegetables, blankets, brooms and mops, honey, those wok stoves and pans that Mexicans find particularly valuable to make asado, knives, flags, among other things. They definitely were doing some good business, and because they were on the shoulder they weren't intruding on private property. And I'll assume that they didn't have vendor's licenses, but both the sheriff's deputies and Texas troopers simply left them alone, mostly because it's not like they're selling drugs or other illegal stuff. I might have even seem deputies drive by to buy the regionally famous melons and watermelons that are grown not far from here.

So definitely a bit of informal commerce is a good idea to consider.

I play online poker on the side. I don't know if I'd recommend it as it's long antisocial hours and has extreme ups and downs financially. But I can eek out a decent win rate after all is said and done. I have played for c. 12 years though. The ground work to learn from scratch and risk involved would prob be too high for the average guy.
