Statistically, I would have to agree with you. Say men matures fully by age of 25 and nothing will change drastically from LVM to HVM, your chances of grabbing a HVM decreases over time because of they are likely to be paired up. A committed HVM will select a very good fit of a partner and not likey to be divorced; a HVM will take care of his health and family, where they are likey to lead healthier longer lives. Divorces, deaths, and high standards do happen, but they will not be the majority of cases to a HVM.

I think the underlying theme of FDS is to be okay to be alone. If your default is being happily single for the rest of your life, vetting becomes easy. Does he bring joy to my life? If not, Marie Kondo him out to the trash. Donate him back into society.

If a HVM does comes along, great! Who cares about statistics, you only have room for one after all.

Yeah I think this too. Unless he’s still studying and getting his PHD or has some sad life circumstance like ill parents that prevents him from dating etc. Or maybe his wife died. That’s the only few rare circumstances that would keep a HVM single beyond early 30s IMO. I need to find one quick while I’m in my 20s or all I’ll be left with is trash and I’d rather be alone than with trash.
