Any kind of language like “friendzone”, “she lead me on”, “I deserved a chance/the least she could’ve done was given me a chance”, “I spent time with her/listened to her and she didn’t give me a chance”, “we were friends for years and I deserved a chance” is an immediate huge screaming red flag to me. All of these men are white knights/nice guys with an entitlement problem and chase any girl that looks at them. Also, the friendzone isn’t a thing and doesn’t exist.

I'm so sick of men claiming they're 'good guys' just because they're not actively violent, rude, or aggressive towards women and can ~gasp~ get through their day acting in a socially acceptable manner.

You're a good guy? Then show me your generosity, your empathy, your compassion, your acts of kindness, your thoughtfulness, your activism to help the disadvantaged, your humility, your accountability, your effort to make meaningful connections with others, your concerted effort EVERY DAY to make the world a better place for your being in it.

Otherwise? Sit down and shut up.
