I just can never seem to wrap my head around the idea that men who are emotionally open and empathetic are weak. Such types of men I know I can trust and interacting with them always puts me in a positive mood. Some of them I even have as friends and who I can truly call my "brothers from another mother". We always tell each other our fears and experiences and it always puts me at ease and feeling less isolated from everyone else. Such men are rare though. As for the hyper masculine dudes, it always results in us trying to outperform the other and proving who is more "alpha". I am friends with such men but I don't hang out with them as much as the empathetic ones. It's just odd to consider emotional men as weak when I know they can actually be good leaders who can uplift and inspire their people. But it seems most people just prefer leaders like Donald Trump who only wish to divide and conquer instead of unifying their people. So now my question is why is this so? Everyone complains there aren't good leaders anymore but that's only because no one wants them since they see them as weak and incompetent.
