What are your personal feelings on isolating?

I was very strict early on but my roommate eventually stopped isolating and now I’m back in the office. I’m not going to hang around people going to large gatherings, but I’m not 100% isolated so...

I think it depends on you and what matters to you. You don’t need anyone to tell you what to do here - you probably asked because it bothered you. Is that right? Listen to your inner voice about this.

What did he do for NYE?

I would say if he had any kind of gathering that was indoors and people outside of his household were there, it would be better to quit seeing him.

If you guys live somewhere warm and he like went to the park with his brother or something that’d maybe be a different story.

People who think they are special exceptions to every rule don’t make good partners.

I think anyone here who says you shouldn’t block, delete and never think of this man again... should 100% tighten up their standards around COVID. It’s an extremely serious illness.

The needs of the many outweigh the few..

Which is why we are all supposed to be social distancing, not travelling, not seeing people in lockdown and wearing masks, etc.

If people actually took that saying more seriously, this pandemic wouldn’t be dragging on the way that it is with so many people dying.

Newsflash. We all want to hang out with our friends, see our family over the holidays, etc. But that’s just not how the cookie crumbles, considering the scope of the pandemic and the risks involved and the fact that “loss” of these activities is nothing in comparison to the potential losses from getting sick.

The biggest and most important thing he’s shown you about himself is that he is more than willing to put his wants/needs above everyone else (which would include you at any point down the line).

He’s selfish. Inconsiderate. OK with endangering himself and others. The list goes on.

Get rid of this clown.
