I don’t think it’s simply the world we live in, it’s the world you surround yourself with. Tucker Budzyn has 2.9M followers and is a golden retriever. Now there is a 100% chance he steals your girl but, he steals anyone’s girl. My point is in there somewhere.

You should worry about things that actually matter. Your IG isn’t going to get you laid half as much as gaining 5 pounds of solid muscle mass. Bitches won’t give two warm logs of a shit about your social media accounts if you haven’t figured out how to actually speak to them in person.

Your IG doesn’t mean shit compared to getting solid grades and developing a good career that will make you money and make life overall easier/better from age 22 onward (bitches come as a side effect here).

Your IG account is meaningless in comparison to the house parties, intramural sports, sporting events, and fun shit you’ll actually do in college.

Point is, stop being an autistic try hard and focus on the important stuff.

Follow local people and people who have similar interests based on hashtags. Go through and unfollow some of them steadily who don't follow you back. Repeat.

The only way to organically grow is to actually post quality content. Keep in mind regular people with a lot of followers are more than likely highly sociable in real life and their IG is just a reflection of that. If your just an average joe posting your boring everyday moments, you probably won’t get anywhere unless your already known.
