I started really paying attention to eye contact a few months ago, and now I'm comfortable enough with it to not break unless I'm thinking or I see something better to look at. So I don't break around 80 percent of the time. And when talking to girls I always make sure they break first.

But like with almost every guy I've talked to, they have such terrible eye contact and can hold it with me for like maybe 7 or 8 seconds at most before breaking. Why is this? Is my eye contact too intense? Or are most guys just actually really terrible with eye contact? It always surprises me when someone holds eye contact with me for long periods because it's so rare.

This is mostly about other guys, girls give way way more eye contact to me than other guys and can actually hold it.
