How about a breather for our n00bz? Something a little easier to ponder, to dial down the existential terror of our first 5 weeks. Maybe later, 'cause this ain't it!

Your finances are as serious as a heart attack. They are your own personal bedrock for the rest of your life. Even if you are a shit-eating beta, your life is infinity easier if you're not destitute. Money is power; money is freedom. Take away a little of your money and you'll be uncomfortable. Take away enough money and you're living under the bridge.

How much money you ultimately have is not the point though, so if you're a high-earning plow-horse, don't get too excited. The real point here is to make sure your wealth is managed and protected so your present and future is as secure as you can make it.

This one goes in nicely with some of the other weeks. For example, you can save a few bucks a day by cutting the Starfux sugar bomb out of your routine, and since the sugar bomb is not a part of a healthy eating plan, that should be easy to do. Making your meals in advance at home will keep you from eating out, also a big savings if you do it a lot. That will free up budget to upgrade your wardrobe or join a gym. Savvy?

Beyond basic budgeting and being mindful about what you spend, controlling your finance and spending is another signal (to yourself) that you have control (of yourself). When your finances are dialed in you don't spend frivolously, you can make a plan and stick to it (budget), you know how to turn one dollar into two, and you're guaranteed to have that dollar to begin with.

So go read the prior years on this. We've had some guys who are really good at this stuff contribute posts and advice -- use it. All I'll say is that in our current world if you're holding cash right now learn how to diversify into something else. Each of those 4 trillion Bidenbux that roll off the virtual printing press chips away at the value of your cash; don't get cucked by the Fed. /r/wallstreetsilver /r/wallstreetbets
