How do you find other folks who are business owners?

I'd like to see an answer from this as well. Maybe we need to hang out where wealthy do, charity events, golf clubs, yacht clubs etc.

Not a business owner (yet) but my old boss used to go to business owner meetings you can probably find some in your area if you look online

Look into solar sales companies. Especially smaller ones. It’s all commission based so people there are not only self driven, but they’re mostly people oriented to be entrepreneurs. People good at it make crazy money and you’ll be instantly connected to a decent network of very hard working and successful people.

Well owning a business comes with dealing with other businesses, including their owners.

You will come to find you rely heavily on building relationships with other companies, especially local ones.

So yeah, make some real business moves, don’t just day dream about it, and you will answer your own question.

Established Political Organizations - Blue or Red, whoever is running it is usually rich, because poor blues and reds don't have time.

Trade Shows and Industry Conventions - Especially the after hours events after the main event.

Exotic Car Meets, Art Auctions, Golf Tournies. etc - aka rich people hobbies. But you have to be a peer or a superior in those circles to really meet people. The riff raff shows up, but they can't really make connects.

Charity Events - Real Estate people like to "give back" and swing hammers/write checks for "habitats for humanity". Soldier Charities also attract those folks.

If you want to meet illuminati money - Davos and TED stuff.

For Example - If you were house flipping - getting involved in the local Real Estate Investment Club (REIC) is a good way to meet the hard money lenders. But like a night club, there are the gen pop/wanna bees and the VIPs.

Crypto meet ups used to be great, and then everyone got involved in Crypto.

So getting in early on something is KEY.

I own an online business so I work from home.

Due to being 21, it’s often difficult to meet people with similar interests as I as most people my age are in uni or working some type of job.

I joined a bunch of FB groups and purchased some online courses with have communities with them.

With this, I’m able to meet a bunch of likeminded people but only a handful actually have some type of relationship with.

I was planning a trip to Mexico next month with around 8 other entrepreneurs but my country is not allowing flights atm so not sure I’ll be able to go.

I met one of these guys from the course I mentioned buying into and we have a pretty decent relationship.

One area you can start is by checking Meetup. I just checked in my area (CT) for Business Networking Events and dozens of groups popped up.

For me, getting involved in these types of things is easier than most. SIL's new husband is a lawyer and involved in politics, his father is a doctor, one of his sisters is a TV executive and HER husband sells multi-million dollar level real estate, has been featured in real estate/sports crossovers on a national sports network and just recently was a judge in the 2021 Ms. Connecticut pageant.

If I needed a connection somewhere, there'd be no shortage of places to start.

Another place besides CoC groups is Toastmasters. You'd be meeting people from all walks of life including many in executive positions, all while bolstering public speaking skills and self-confidence.

As a business owner you find other business owners by owning and running your business.

As a business owner you have to generate revenue. Cold call businesses, talk to the owners, form a relationship and do business together.
As a business owner, you rely on suppliers. These companies call on you, you form a relationship with the owners and you do business together.
As a business owner, you are involved in the greater community. Attend all those golf tournaments and charity event that you are constantly getting invited to.
As a business owner you deal with professionals ie. lawyers, accountants, insurance guys etc. Form a relationship with these people who have extended business contacts.
