What makes this so painful for me is that I could have saved him yesterday.

Yesterday, my dad saw our German Shepherd running around the house and my sister told us that he was locked inside his kennel. My dad and I told that there is no way a dog can climb a tall kennel(ours is a big one) as a cat would. So we thought we might have failed to properly close the kennel door. But as soon as we got him inside the kennel, we saw him climbing the kennel and I couldn't believe my eyes.

Anyway, my sister thought of putting him on a leash inside the kennel. I told her to loosen it up a bit but she told me that the length is more than enough. I thought she'd remove the leash later on in the evening.

Today morning, I woke up to a loud cry from my sister. When I ran towards her to ask her what had happened, I could see our dog laying dead on the floor.

My dog jumped out of the cage late at night and strangled himself.

What makes me this sad is I've heard something crying late yesterday night but it resembled two cats fighting or a frog crying while it's been attacked by a snake. I don't really know how many can relate but the place where I live, it's quite common. I never even for one second felt that it was my dog crying for life because it didn't feel like a dog's cry at all. My mom told me it's cats fighting and my dad told me its snake swallowing its prey.

This is making me so depressed. I heard the noise yet I couldn't go out to check my dog out. He was just 3 years old.

Whenever, I go to the office and I start my motorbike, he'd bark so loud. Now, the next day I go to the office, the feeling that there is no one is just so terrifying.

Whenever I pay him, I could see love in his eyes - He'd show that white part of the eyes and put his ears down.

The pain he had to go through is making me so sad that I am almost sick now.

Please excuse the typos, not really in a good mood now.
