I'm 25, and usually feel like I have a pretty positive outlook on things. I have a plan for my future and periodic goals that keep me going. However, some mornings I wake up and think to myself "great, another day of work. Another 8-10 hours of doing the same thing yet again for the 4th/5th consecutive day, and then I get a brief 2 day break before starting the cycle all over again. And for what?" Usually at the end of the day I go for a walk or do some kind of workout, but feel too mentally drained to do much more than that.

There have been a lot of suicides in my town over the last year, and I definitely see why. COVID shut everything down, society is crumbling. Life can seem empty and it can be easy to fall into a crippling depression and think that life isn't worth the trouble.

I know that there is light at the end of the tunnel, but having to work another 15-20 years before I can actually do whatever I want seems very, very far away. That's a lot of time being a wage slave, and I really want to find out a way to exit sooner.

I'm thankful to be single and not have any additional worries other than stacking assets, but sometimes life can feel quite empty when you truly are doing everything alone. Especially when the weather is always cold and gray. Usually I feel this way for a while in the wintertime, and then when the seasons change everything seems much better.
