i have this weird issue. I am a young guy (21) and actually a rather good looking guy. When going out into clubs and bars, I have the second most success out of my friends group (one chad friend is better looking). Normally, I get girls to make out with me even without any talking. I get rejected too of course, but all in all, I am quite happy with my success in real life.

Online dating...not so much. I get quite a lot matches and conversations but often times, they lead to nowhere, offers for a meetup get rejected and in the last few months, I got like 2-3 hook ups max. Now I am no male model and I know that online dating is harder than real life, but there is like a huge difference and I actually get the matches but not the dates.

My chad friends is better looking than I am and he's got also a lot of matches (of course more than me) but his matches are waaaay more willing to meet up. He has linked his instagram and he got over 2k followers there. I dont use insta because I hate the dumb superficial and fakeness there and quite frankly, I feel too old for that shit now, posting my food or acting like my life is movie.

Now to come to my question, could it be that having social status Is crucial in online dating, even when having good looks? Should add more pictures of social settings ( I only got pictures of me solo but os does my chad friend). Do girls really give a fuck about followers?
