well, the phrase , live below your means is the way.

How, it's just in general every day choices.

I can afford a $2k/month apartment, but I decided on a 1.2K/month place

I can afford an Audi A8, but I got a Chevy

I could buy the $5k rolex, but got a "whatever" for $500

Look for bargains, don't buy stuff you don't need, better to be a minimalist IMO.

Also, think of it like this, Hey, that $100 shirt, how many hours (after taxes), does it take me to earn that shirt? Think about it, it works for me.

Flaunting money is gonna attract that type of women. Hard truth, but if you're not good looking and show wealth, women will use you for your money.

If you're decent looking, maximize your looks, just don't go around flexing your money. Keep it humble.

I'm 20 so I can't say I'm super well off financially, but in the future I don't ever expect to flaunt money, I see it as a compensation for something. "Oh that guy is trying too hard to be seen as cool and wealthy, he must be trying to compensate for his low self esteem, bad looks, balding, etc"

If you're looking for plates, do whatever you need to appear high status, just don't expect them to stick around long when they realize you won't buy them shit, take her on expensive dinners, etc.

If you want an LTR, attract her without the external things such as money, you don't have to tell her, if she asks what you do reply with your career position, or say something like "I do alright."

Just keep it humble. Don't be the guy wearing the flashy chains, Gucci clothes, driving a Lambo for clout, etc.

It’s a catch 22 man, girls wanna know your value and while you might be well off… if you flaunt it you will most likely attract the wrong crowd.

I personally like having subtle signs that I do well, but never ever flaunt.

The vast majority of my friends have no idea how much money I make. I like it that way; people are more interested in you for who are, not what you can do for them.

Buy yourself nice things, but don’t get too flashy and invest what you don’t spend wisely. Spend for the future not just for now.

In regards to girls, don't show off your money if you are interested in a LTR. See if she's measuring you based on your money status, are you paying for her,etc.

Don't pay more than her, that puts her above you. See if she's willing to pay,etc. That way you can see that money is not why she is with you. that is unless she see's a $1M dollar penthouse you live in of course. Then she knows you got money and can wait it out, she'll push for you to pay more.

keep it equal as much as you can, test her. If you paid for the last 2-3 meals, when the bill comes on the next one, see if she tries to take her credit card out or assumes you are. that's telling.
