This isn't beta. It's sad because this shows that men are the ones who want relationships. Men want something to believe in. Men are loyal and willing to suffer for others and I think men want kids and wife because there's a biological need to self sacrifice. I think its written into a man's DNA to be that way. That's why men have always willingly died to build and protect their home.

We shouldn't make fun of men who believed in the picket fence dream, we should feel angry that a man's loyalty and love was rewarded with pain and deceit. This man probably still loves that woman and probably hopes that one day she'll see how good he is and take him back.

I've seen this with the parents of an old primary school friend who just lives up the road. He is a bit of a piece of shit though, cheated on his wife, moved out to live with the new girlfriend but still comes back to the house to mow the lawn. He even relayed it and turned up each day to water it in. I have no fucking idea why.
