Generally no, but there are obviously going to be situations where there’s zero way for a man to contact you unless you text him first, like Bumble (not recommended), he gives you his number, you found him somewhere and wanted to connect, etc.

So while it’s generally not advised, it can happen, but you just have to remember just because you make yourself known/available doesn’t mean he doesn’t need to do the work to show interest. He should be leading the conversations, asking questions, not leaving a ton of dead air, etc.

Uhmm depends ! At the beginning of dating , then no. Once you’re in a relationship, then I think it’s okay as long as they text you first most of the time.
