Joshua Jackson recently went on a late night show and out of the blue revealed it was his wife Jodie Turner who proposed not him. It was done in a good natured way but women in the above youtube are claiming it was an attempt by him to reclaim his manhood and the power in the relationship since she took from him the pursuer role. That it was a public passive aggressive attempt to humiliate her by making her look desperate publicly while he appears the catch with a 10 year younger woman chasing him. What do you all think.

It’s interesting to me because I just got out of a work dynamic with a boss who I only now realize resented me for confronting him and expressing unhappiness and anger/ getting him in line, when I was treated unfairly in the office or things were handled inappropriately. He lashed out by making passive aggressive comments to others to humiliate and cut me down, and even insinuating I was crazy. I now realize he was privately resenting my “being too strong” and passive aggressively punishing me for “embarrassing him” in an effort to regain his masculine power in front of his male friends and not look whipped by his younger female assistant. I wasn’t entirely aware of the resentment there until I got out and looked back
