Well, scince there are two opposite opinions on this subject, I'll be free to present my:

-Semen retention is a thing.

-Posnt nut clarity is a thing.

Like with every other thing in your life, the most important thing is finding the balance. Occasional masturbation can help with stress relief, if there is no real deal (sex, yes. It's great, but not worth risking your life or well being. Keep that in mind.) and most people do make better decisions while they are stress free. I have been using masturbation for quite a while now. Its a real powerful tool.

I practice semen retention when i get back into the gym, or a couple of weeks before a serious game (i played water polo). Found out that my sweet spot at the moment is on the fifth to seventh day. Libido goes nuts, i get random erections during the day, high energy, more stamina and super aggressive. I fucking love it.

While on sr i actively try not to argue with people and make rushed decisions.
