It's hard but very rewarding. If you learn to not get into a relationship without being able to leave at any time, you won't be held hostage when a women or wife leaves you. This is essential as women today learn that their power lies in leaving.

Love children? Don't. Women think they own children. Default custody is moving toward 50/50 but todays woman thinks that they it not ever going to happen her and can fight you for years even if you win 50/50. My ex fought me for 14 years before my son gave in because he couldn't take her constant pressure. Brad Pitt just got 50/50 after fighting for 4 years. And he's a millionaire.

Or use a surrogate.

Alway have an exit strategy then go for it and enjoy relationships. If they can't hurt you much, there is nothing to lose.

After my experience with women I am on that same wagon. I go in with pure intentions and they take it and run with it. Lie cheat hide things etc. I found it easier to not live with a woman even if you are in a relationship with her

While you have pain now, and I'm sure it's deep, you have a chance to emotionally, spiritually, physically, and financially live a life better than the generation that fell before you.

Seize this chance. Endure and then flush away the bitterness and rage stage that you'll have to get through (allow youself relapses and failure, you're a man), and then LIVE your happiness that awaits you. I swear it is there. I've found it, but it took decades... It's so easy now.

Learn and practice the fine art of sublimation and i swear to you, eventually you won't need to do even that anymore as you will have a secure hold on your OWN soul while you live.

You will not be alone. You can travel through a landscape of deep friendships and meaningful acts. And also a whole hell of a lot of superficial fun crap too, because resources.

This was a hard pill for me to swallow. At first, I didn't believe it. Gradually, though, I came to accept it. Women love men for what they can provide or do, not (essentially) for who they are as people. "Provision" is not just about money (although that certainly figures in) about other things as well -- sense of physical safety and security, sense of emotional safety, feelings of excitement and adventure, sexual arousal and satisfaction, attention and validation, entertainment (e.g., travel, shopping, dining out, making her laugh).

A man doesn't necessarily have to provide all of that. It depends on the woman's SMV (or rather MMV) and what she can get. Lower-rank women will settle for men who don't provide a whole lot.

I think there are some exceptions, and that some women are able to transcend these lower motives and love their husbands in a higher way. But those are the exceptions.

This is not how women experience their love, though. If you ever tell them this (that women don't love men for who they are, but for what they provide), they will object. I believe that in their own minds, they feel romantic love, and it feels very real and meaningful to them. They don't want to debase the feeling by admitting some of its roots. They feel it as an insult, too, like you're saying women can't love, they are just selfish users. They get defensive.

The concept of love is very different in the West than in the East or anywhere else. Everyone else knows that humans are selfish and exploitive by nature and that extents even in relationships. People only get into relationships for something that they think they can "gain" from it. People in third world countries know this just by their everyday knowledge of living in their corrupt unbalanced shit holes. "Love" is a romanticized fairy tale idea which originated in the west, that only came about during some point of time in modernity. Before that marriage was always arranged and still is even in most countries to this day. The reality of it all. Is that relationships are transactional (conditions based on provision). It has to be mutually beneficial to both parties otherwise it wouldn't work. There is no selfless motives for being in a relationship solely. The thing is, is you have to find a balance between what "you" and your partner both want from each other to make a relationship work. It's foolish to think that people would want to be with you as in a attachment if they didn't think they can get something out of it, which is the false pretense that fairy tale love promotes.

It's normal though. The problem is the media and garbage traditions that women are capable of loving men the way men love them.

In today's society, it's a gamble to have a relationship with a modern woman and marry them. Men have a lot more to lose than women.

Love does exist and it can grow but it can also turn to hate.... The problem with this sub is that it attracts folks who have been burned or had serious oneitus for an ex.

Happened at 16 and at 24 it’s still hard to “cope”. Sounds like you have issues.

Looking elsewhere, there are two realities you can settle for. First being that the women you’re describing are bad women and you should find yourself something better. The second one is that all women AND men are the way you describe except men just want a woman with youth, beauty, and sex drive. The second is more reasonable. Why would a woman love a man who can’t do anything for her? Women want to raise children, not spend 8+ hours a day away from them.
