A vulnerable man is anathema to women. If a woman expresses interest in you, it is to the extent you'll be able to provide for her, protect her, accord her status (reflected glory) and make her (and her offspring) feel secure. Men are just that to women, it's nice to have a good-looking guy that's not a snob, but these are paraphernalia for women. As long as you're dominant enough, you can be the ugliest ogre and women would throw themselves at you.

Since this is the case, a man being vulnerable puts off women just like a man would be turned off by a woman he hit on removing her makeup and revealing a hideous face. It's hard-wired, women can't help it, it's a turn-off. If you need evidence, look at the stuff women consume in lieu of porn - the kind of erotica and fluff they love. Rich good looking dominant man treats her like trash but she eventually wins him over by putting out and tearing down competitor women. He could even rape her and they'd lap it up. This is not love, gents. At least not love as men imagine it.

The women you meet out there are not your mother. They're not here to take care of you (they will if they're trying to win you over and you've not softened, but it's all done to lock in resources for the future), they're not here to hear out your problems and cuddle you when you're broken (however, they'd love to cuddle when you're rich and have your shit together when you can make them feel all secure and protected), all that men deem the attributes of a girlfriend/wife are nothing but a little more than fantasies.

Accept the fact that there's no such thing as the love of a woman for her husband, there's simply nothing as that, as long as we define love as the desire for a person and not what a person can provide you. Your friends love you infinitely more than a girl can ever. It's simply not true.

I'm not saying there can't be exceptions, but from my experience, this is the norm. Try confronting your girlfriend/wife after quitting your job or blowing away your money and see for yourself how you get treated.

Be stoic. The only real love is of God. Expect nothing of women. Sure, she can be an outlet for your sexual urges and that's the kind of love you can share with a woman. Own her, possess her, pleasure her, in as much as it fulfills your sexual urges and makes you feel good. This is the only way you can relieve stress with a woman.

Can a man really love a woman if this is the truth? Love a being incapable of loving you for who you are but only for what you can provide? I can't bring myself to liking such women.
